Goodbye to an old friend.

September 26th, 2008 by Kristin

This car has taken us across the United States to see family and friends. It has faithfully carried our beloved pooches.
Last but not least, it has brought our three precious children home from the hospital. Yes, it has been well loved and well used…
but it just doesn’t seem to have the breathing room that our growing family needs right now. (i.e.- hiking a baby carrier up and over the first car seat to the “sandwiched” middle seat isn’t my idea of fun.)
If you know of someone who would be willing to give it a loving home and a few more miles (it only has 83k) of life, please let us know!!
So, yes, in answer to your question, we have taken the American middle class family plunge- We said we’d never do it…but we’re trying to be green here…you know, not buying a tank of an SUV to put yet a little more pollutant into our air…
Yes…we bought a…….ahem….a…..v-v-vv VAN- No, I’m sorry….a “Sport Van” as it is titled…what a joke! (; Anyway, we have already become accustomed to its roominess and cargo space and are trying to still feel “cool” driving it. I must admit, being able to open all the doors as well as start it remotely with a little click is mighty fine with me! The Chrysler Town and Country Touring is a sweet family machine…
